Avionics and Mechanical Engineering Project

Spain pdf

Abstract of the project

We worked with this well-renowned aviation mechanical engineering company, specialising in building bespoke autonomous drones. They have been conducting an ongoing project since 2015, within with other projects.  Thus, this project is congruently aligning towards the same goals in achieving a bespoke automated aviation platform for meteorologists. To begin with, the idea was to utilise as measurement instruments for their geographic and subsequently environmental research, taking advantage of the advancements of technological features added to the aircraft, such as video surveillance, aeromagnetic surveying and, consequently, taking the physical element that comprises delivering the requirements of the payload for humanitarian aid.

Not to mention that the main part of the project was to ensure the engine is working at its optimum level. Let alone this was a very iterate concept both practically and theoretically. As the majority of the companies had set out to speed up the flight, there was no readily deducible solution out there to reduce the speed to slow and steady to collect more data, without affecting the duration of the flight. In fact, there were many factors that needed to be investigated considering that as a key factor the weight and way would be distributed throughout the aircraft itself.
